Story
As part of our upcoming production of Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition we're raising funds for Kids Helpline, an incredible service that provides free, 24/7 support to young people across Australia who are struggling with mental health, bullying, self-harm, relationship issues, and more.
Heathers – Teen Edition is a bold and powerful musical that explores the very real challenges teenagers face — including bullying, body image, homophobia, assault, and suicide. Set in the 1980s, the show highlights how far we’ve come in talking about these issues — and how far we still need to go.
This performance is being presented in collaboration with the Mentone Grammar Wellbeing Team, with the goal of sparking honest conversations, increasing awareness, and creating safer, more supportive environments for young people.
By donating to this campaign, you’ll be helping Kids Helpline continue to be a lifeline for teens who need someone to talk to. Every dollar raised will go toward supporting vital counselling services that make a real difference in the lives of young Australians.

Kids Helpline is Australia’s only free, private, and confidential 24/7 phone and online counselling and support service for young people aged 5-25. With 75% of all responses by Kids Helpline counsellors happen in the evening or on weekends, your support is what allows us to respond in those critical after-hours moments.In 2024, 43% of Kids Helpline’s funding came from the community. With your help, we’ll continue to be there – every minute, every hour, every day. The next young person who needs help might be someone you know.
